> Dogs rehomed Dyna & Tensying find a home together 1st August 2002 - update from their new home
22nd May 2002 - Dyna & Tensying (mother & son) get homed together Dyna & Tensying, a pair of lhasas who are mother & son, have gone to their new home together, to live with an older 15yr lhasa & an owner who has experience with the breed. This is a great combination, as the pair can keep each other company & play, without hassling or upsetting the older dog's routine, as a single dog or puppy might do. Their new owner found out about them on this website, & contacted North of England Lhasa Apso Rescue. Please remember that you should register with your nearest rescue. 8th May 2002 - New home needed for mother & son A pair of lhasas who are a 'well-bred' mother & son need a home where they can be kept together. They have no health problems & have been vaccinated. They are good car travellers, enjoy their food and are happy out walking together. They get on fine with other dogs, especially smaller ones, but we don't know if they are used to cats. These gorgeous dogs deserve a loving home together, where they will get equal attention. Dyna (Dynamite!) is a spayed 8 year old black & white girl who is very outgoing, is used to going out & about to lots of places & being groomed, as she was previously a show dog. Dyna was bought as a 'companion' for Tensying & there wasn't much interaction from the owners. She is a lovely dog & deserves time, love & attention being spent on her. Tensying is a un-neutered 6.5 year old cream boy who is a little wary of strangers. He is very attached to his mum, Dyna & follows her about everywhere - so they must be kept together. He is used to being groomed at home & had been 'babied' a lot by his previous owners, which encouraged him to want their full attention. They tried to remedy this by purchasing a girl from the original breeder - which is when he was reunited with his mother. They are needing a new home because their previous owners' daughter moved back in to the house with a baby. It sounds like Tensying & the baby weren't introduced properly, as he had growled at this newcomer (and obviously wasn't the 'baby' anymore & attention was taken away from him & directed elsewhere). The owners did not seek any help in this, other than to give them to the rescue.
