Goldie & Honey

We were seeking donations for Goldie, a female lhasa apso aged 5 years whose eyes were in poor condition after being starved. She has a condition called dry eye & is very emaciated. Goldie needed eye medicine called Optimmune, which is costly & we asked for donations to the rescue.

Donations currently received £20.00
THANK YOU SO MUCH to:

Isabelle Stewart-McRobbie from Glasgow
for her £10 donation
Elaine Bramhall of Stockport for her £5 donation
Mr J Orchard of Sheffield for his £5 donation.

BACKGROUND: Goldie was brought in with her sister, Honey. Their previous owner was elderly & unable to cope with them after her husband passed away. Honey has a condition called cherry eye - no medication is required, it just doesn't look very nice.
They had been homed to a local lady, but unfortunately being on benefit, she cannot afford to keep them now that she has found out the costs of medicine & grooming.

Both girls will eventually be rehomed - but only when they have got to a normal weight & been assessed. However, they will be separated as they fight. We can't really indicate their personalities at the moment as they are so subdued whilst recovering from being starved.

Optimmune costs £30 + VAT per 2mg tube.
PLEASE could you spare a donation for Goldie to cover all or part of this cost?
(Send to the rescue direct, details on the left)
THANK YOU with all our hearts
